I hope this game have great economy system, great coop contents like PVE/PVP, and hope this game have a great aspect of social like chat system, looking for group system or raiding/dungeon coordination system.. because some MMO does not care about those aspects..

I give Throne and LIberty and the relaunch of new world a year MAX before they both dead on their arses ...... Which will benifit a LotR launch soon after. The NW engines a fucked up mess tbh .. lets hope they have been fixing and working on this for a couple years already. But its Amazon -______- LotR bound to do well on release, but will it die within a year just like everything else they touch ..... NW was a total disaster from start to finish. The game itself was fine, just the management and decisions absolutely fucked up.

if its the same team who has done new world it will fail badly, they are probably the worst every team i have every seen in an mmo. They also do not have a decent base using the the new world engine, they need to use unreal 5 as it has tech within the engine that helps to reduce lag which is a must in mmo's, new world lagged hard in fights 25vs25 and thats not good enough

New World's monetization seemed nice on paper but unfortunately couldn't really help sustain the game. They had to cut back on a lot of staff, a lot of it was attributed to poor decisions which lead to declining playerbase. Tbh, if they had opted for a sub model, I doubt people would've paid after reaching the endgame since there was pretty much nothing to do but spam opr and same mutations (m3 now). And their store skins are horrendous. The battlepass was a bandaid monetization fix and them monetizing transmog and mount skins was just bad taste.

I mean... they still can't develop NW properly till this day. I doubt they'll be able to develop a LOTR MMORPG.

Hopefully it won't be another New World disaster with kiddie fluro colors, flashing pixels combat, and PVP preferred. Please do not have any New World personnel working on this new Lord of the Rings game, some adults would be nice for a change. For a few hints on designing a great game, look at what LOTRO was, and could have been, in terms of gameplay.

Wasn't expecting this. I'd like to remain hopefully optimistic but have a hard time trusting Amazon after how they handled New World. I do not have high hopes for this upcoming Throne and Liberty game either.

"A Fresh Take on Middle Earth", I don't trust that phrase just like how Amazon churned out the Rings of Power and holy hell it was just bad so I literally have little to no hope for Amazon cranking out a good LoTR mmorpg as much as I trust Disney to do justice to Star Wars. I can't wait for the trans gender black elves though in the game.

There's no reason why this game should be based in the Third Age other than the "Star Wars effect". These companies love milking original trilogies instead of tackling the rest of its pre-defined lore. First or Second age done right would be an instant hit.

Why anyone would ever be excited about Amazon making anything game wise is fucking beyond me. Everything they've made is a complete flop, they have ZERO clue what consumers want and they have ZERO talent to even remotely bring it to life. New World is one of the most EXPENSIVE games EVER CREATED and it literally has ZERO end game content, it has ONE pvp map, ONE pvp arena map and the ENTIRE game can be completed in under 100hrs, which is PISS ALL for a MMO to put in context, The Final Shape for Destiny 2 has MORE content in it then the ENTIRITY OF NEW WORLD and all the Final Shape gave Destiny 2 was a new subclass 1 new area and a echos event. AND ITS STILL MORE CONTENT THEN NEW WORLD. I quit New World yonks ago, when you get everything to cap in under 100hrs theres literally NOTHING to do in the game outside of pvping (which i love dont get me wrong) the problem with this is that there are only THREE ways to pvp and the LAST way is completely gated to anyone who won't grovel and suck a raid leaders shaft for a spot. I wouldn't trust Amazon to make a good LOTR game and neither should any of you. Theres a reason why New World has overwhelming negative reviews. Amazon can't create games.

Is it finally time to believe again? I hope so. Quinfall and Throne and Liberty aren't looking that reliable right now.

I would really like this game to be good but in it's current state it needs a lot of work. It's Early Access so there is hope. The building system, outposts, and NPC job systems all need overhauls IMO.

I wonder if you can also have romance in there and even play as your kids if your character dies in battle or by old age
